Aydee Sickinger, President/Founder
Aydee is a native of Bolivia who moved to the United States seven years ago, is married, and has two children. She is a teacher's aid and a senior caregiver. Though she lives in the
U.S., she remains concerned about the poverty in Bolivia and commits as much time as she can spare towards building HFCBolivia.
Henry Sotillo, Vice President/Local Volunteer Representative (Bolivia)
Henry is a mechanical technician and car salesman. He is dedicated to helping the organization reach the most impoverished children in his area.
Anne Reynolds, Secretary/Founder
Anne Reynolds works as a real estate loan agent helping first time homebuyers achieve homeownership and investors achieve wealth through real estate. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and Tagalog, and is dedicated to serving the ethnically diverse Bay Area community.
Anne's educational background includes an MA in Teaching ESL, and a BA in English received with highest honors. She brings her extensive background in special events planning, marketing, writing, and editing to HFCBOLIVIA. She has served as music administrator to independent label Karumanta Music, owned by Bolivian musician Oscar Reynolds. She is also the CEO of Soul del Arte, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to presenting the highest caliber of independent local musicians and dancers.
Omar Rivero, Treasurer
Omar joined the organization in March of 2007. He currently works at Wells Fargo Bank in San Francisco as a Systems Analyst. For the last four years, Omar has been involved in fundraising for organizations like the San Francisco Aids Foundation and The American Lung Association.
Beth Baker, Grantwriter/Volunteer
Beth recently joined the organization as a volunteer grantwriter. She has a BA in International Studies from University of the Pacific and MA in English from the University of Notre Dame. Beth has volunteered extensively in Africa and Mexico, working with orphans and street children and organizations that help them.
The volunteer representatives in Bolivia and the volunteers in California do not receive any kind of compensation. At this time the organization is run entirely by volunteers and board members. |
